Vitamins: Overview

Many people take vitamins to supplement their daily dietary intake. There are two basic types of vitamins, those that are water-soluble and those that are fat-soluble. There are thirteen vitamins within these two types. Unfortunately, many people take excessive amounts of vitamins creating potentially harmful effects.
