Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are a mixture of individual chemicals which are no longer produced in the United States, but are still found in the environment. PCBs can cause irritation of the
nose and throat,
acne, and rashes. They have been shown to cause
cancer in animal studies. PCBs have been found in at least 383
Superfund sites identified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
See your doctor if you have experienced serious health problems because of PCB exposure. In addition, it may be important to
contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be
time limits within which you must commence suit.
