Lawn Care Tools: Overview

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) estimates that 135,000 people are treated in hospital emergency rooms for injuries associated with power lawn and garden tools each year. Injuries involving these products and lawnmowers often occur because of improper use, improper safety apparel, failure to heed safety instructions and owners' manuals, inadequate maintenance of tools, and mechanical problems. Often, the victims of these accidents are children who are unaware of any danger and are playing in the area where power equipment is being used.

If you have been injured by lawn care equipment it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.
