Ipriflavone is sold as an over-the-counter treatment for
osteoporosis.
A recent study suggests that Ipriflavone has little effect in preventing osteoporosis and may instead cause women who use the product to become more susceptible to
infections. The study found that Ipriflavone use reduces white blood cell counts.
It may be important to see your doctor if you are concerned about using Ipriflavone.
