Gun Violence: Overview

Modified on 2009/10/14 21:46 by admin
The use of guns to settle disputes has been increasing at an alarming pace. Each year nearly 40,000 Americans are killed through firearm violence. Fatalities caused by gun violence rank second only to auto accidents as the leading cause of death in young people.

Over the past few years, many state and local governments have begun to sue major gun manufacturers for designing unsafe guns, distributing them in a reckless manner and using deceiving advertising to increase the sale of guns.

If you have been injured due to gun violence, it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.
