Cosmetic Products: Overview

Cosmetics have been used for hundreds of years. In fact, the European cosmetic known as ceruse was used faithfullyand fatally, because it was mainly white leadby wealthy women from the second century until well into the 19th century to make their faces look fashionably pale. Nothing on the market today approaches ceruse's deadliness; however, many consumers wonder about the eye makeup, lipsticks, foundations, and nail products that are on their shelves. Are there any risks in using these cosmetics? Are long lashes, even skin tone, and brightly colored nails worth any risk at all?

While the FDA has done an adequate job in reducing the risks associated with cosmetics, dangers may still persist. If you have been seriously injured by a cosmetic product, it may be important to contact an attorney to help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.
